The National Covid Memorial

The national Covid Memorial is scheduled for January 19, 2021, at 6:30 pm AST. Governor Albert Bryan Jr. will be asking that all who are able to do so join the memorial by displaying amber (or white) lights at their places of business and/or tolling bells at 6:30 pm AST at their places of worship, if possible. A statement from the Office of the Governor is being prepared to announce that all Government of the Virgin Islands offices, along with those of Delegate Stacey E. Plaskett, the Legislature of the Virgin Islands, and the Court System of the Virgin Islands will be participating in this national Covid Memorial and honoring the memories and the lives of all twenty-four Virgin Islanders, as well as the hundreds of thousands of Americans, lost to Covid.
