Offender Visits
- A maximum of two (2) adults and four (4) children will be allowed to visit one inmate at a given time.
- All visitors must be on the Inmate/Detainee’s approved visitation list.
- Visitors who are 16 years of age or older must show Government issued picture identification prior to each visit. e.g. driver’s license, passport, employee identification card, military identification card, and student body card.
- Children under the age of 16 will be admitted if they are accompanied by an adult visitor.
- Attorneys visiting an Inmate/Detainee in his or her professional capacity must, in addition to showing a Government issued picture identification, show an Attorney Bar Card.
- Visitors must dress appropriately and remain fully clothed at all times. Stay away from clothing that is red, orange, or looks similar to law enforcement/military.
- Visitors will not be allowed to visit if wearing short, sleeveless, strapless , sheer/transparent, or tight clothing.
- Visitors shall be searched by a scanning device and/or pat searched.

Offender Mail
- Any incoming correspondence sent to inmates/detainees:
- Inmates/detainee’s name
- Inmate/detainee’s BOC number
- Facility name and address
- Name and full address of the sender
- Inmates/detainees will be allowed to send/receive confidential correspondence from:
- Attorneys
- Territorial agencies regarding child custody proceedings
- Territorial and federal judges and courts
- Territorial officials appointed by the Governor, including the PREA Coordinator
- Territorial and federal elected officials
- Officials of a foreign consulate
- Verified legal service providers/organizations (e.g., American Civil Liberties Union, Prison Law Office, National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, etc.)
- All incoming general correspondence is subject to being read, in part, or in full, and searched for contraband before it is delivered to the inmate/detainee.
- Inmates/detainees will be allowed to have money orders or cashier’s checks sent to them.It must be made payable to the inmate/detainee. No foreign currency.
- Incoming special correspondence should be marked “Confidential” and must bear the name and title of a sender.
- Correspondence promoting illegal activity is strictly prohibited, e.g. publicatios, pictures or illustrations related to riots, escape, terrorism, drugs, weapons or racism .
